Elevasi Segmen-ST: Apakah selalu Penanda Infark Miokard Akut ?

Abstract


Infark Miokard Akut (IMA) disebabkan oleh oklusi total pembuluh darah koroner oleh trombus yang memberikan gambaran elevasi segmen-ST pada pemeriksaan elektrokardiografi (EKG). Diagnosis dan tindakan reperfusi segera dibutuhkan untuk menangani kasus IMA. Semakin cepat tindakan reperfusi memberikan hasil yang lebih baik pada pasien. Terdapat beberapa penyebab lain selain IMA yang dapat memberikan gambaran elevasi segmen-ST pada EKG. Sehingga menjadi tantangan buat setiap dokter terutama dokter instalasi gawat darurat (IGD) untuk memiliki kemampuan membedakan gambaran tersebut untuk menghindari pengobatan dan tindakan reperfusi yang tidak sesuai indikasi.
